Rental Information and Pricing
1. FULL DAY BONSPIELS - Cost is $575.00
2. ½ DAY SPIELS - Cost is $340.00
To qualify for the half-day rate an event must not exceed five (5) hours in duration, with the exception of the last one in the evening. Events must be held during the following times:
8:00AM – 1:00PM
1:00PM – 6:00PM
6:00PM – CLOSE
Events not adhering to these times will pay the full day rate.
3. CHARITY SPIELS - Cost is $175.00
To qualify for this rate an organization must be registered as a Charitable Institution.
4. MEMBER’S RENTALS - Cost is $235.00
This rate applies to use of the lounge and kitchen. The function must be for the personal use of the member – e.g. birthday, reception, etc. It cannot qualify where the member is making the application on behalf of an outside group. In this case the normal rate will apply.
5. STUDENT RATES
As this group is the next generation of curlers a special rate has been established to expose them to curling.
High School Students - $2.00 each
Elementary School Students - $1.00 each
Slider blocks and brooms will be supplied, free of charge, for this rate. The teacher or person in charge must complete the appropriate form to record date, # of students and where to invoice for the charge.
6. LOUNGE RENTAL - Cost is $340.00 / Capacity - 225
A special rate of $120.00 will be charged to any member of the Board of Directors for use of the lounge. This is applicable only while the person is a member of the Board and can only be applied once.
7. DEPOSIT - $100.00
This deposit applies to all groups and/or individuals renting the Curling Club facilities. The deposit must be paid prior to any date being held and/or printed in the annual directory. Early in April or May, of each year, a letter will be sent to all groups who have rented the ice and/or lounge continuously over a number of years, requesting if they desire to reserve time again. Prior to reserving the date or printing the appropriate forms and deposit must have been received. If they do not reply within a certain limit, their names will not appear in the directory and the dates will be available for anyone else on a first come basis.
* "$200.00" DAMAGE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR FIRST TIME NON CLUB MEMBERS RENTING THE CLUB. DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER INSPECTION BY THE RENTAL CONTACT PERSON
8. BLEACHERS
Requests to have bleachers erected for events will be charged on the following basis:
Six units - $100.00
Less than six units - $20.00 per unit
This is to cover time to erect and take down.
9. STAG & DOE EVENTS
Because this type of event normally results in damage or extra work not associated with other functions the Board does not wish to rent for such an event and all requests will be turned down.
